Course Reserve Search

A Course Reserve search in MadCat allows you to search for non-electronic items that have been placed on reserve for a class. *Note: To access electronic course reserves, log in to My UW, click on the Academic tab, look for the list of courses in which you are enrolled, and click on the "library/reserve" links.

To perform a Course Reserve search in MadCat for non-electronic materials, select one item from one or more of the following drop-down menus: Instructor, Department or Course.

Course Reserves

Tips:

  • The most efficient method of searching is by Instructor and Course, although some browsers have trouble displaying the entire course list. You may need to search by other methods.

  • Instead of scrolling, highlight a box and type the first letter to jump to that portion of the list. For example, type s for Sociology (Windows Only)

  • You cannot limit a Course Reserve search.

For more information about course reserves, see the campus libraries' course reserves information page.

Contact reserves staff with questions or problems regarding course reserves. Note: Some materials may also be available through faculty or department home pages.
