This title has been ordered, but it was not received by the expected date. The supplier has been notified that the order is not yet fulfilled. If you would like to be notified when the item arrives, you may fill out the On Order / In Process Inquiry Form or you may inform the staff at the library's circulation desk.
For staff: For titles ordered after Voyager implementation, an "Order Information" field displays with the message "1 copy ordered as of (date, for example 09/07/06). This message displays until the item is received. However, if an item is not received by an expected date, a claim can be generated in Voyager. When the claim is generated, the "Order Information" field message changes to "1 copy claimed as of (date). The date is the date that the claim was generated. Jump to top

For titles ordered before Voyager implementation, this message replaces the "In the Pre-Order Process" message when the purchase order is approved. "1 copy ordered as of (date, for example 09/07/99)" = PO approved, no call number, nor subscription pattern; OR, PO approved, no call number, subscription pattern created but the first item has not yet been checked in.
In the Pre-Order Process
This title may be available for your use. You may fill out the On Order / In Process Inquiry Form or you may inform the staff at the library's circulation desk that you would like to use this item. The library will notify you when it is available.
For staff: "In the Pre-Order Process" displays only for titles with pending purchase orders and for titles lacking text in subfield h of the 852 field. The message appears for any new firm, standing, or approval orders (such as Yankee Book Peddlar) that have not been officially or completely approved and ordered by library staff.
When the purchase order is approved, the Order Information message changes to "1 copy ordered as of (date)". When either a call number is added to the call number field or an item is checked in on a subscription pattern, the messages "In the Pre-Order Process" and "1 copy ordered as of (date)" are blocked from displaying. "In the Pre-Order Process" = PO pending, no call number, no subscription pattern.
This Copy Being Processed as of (date)
This title has been received by the library, but it is not yet on the library shelves. If you would like to use this item, you may fill out the On Order / In Process Inquiry Form or you may inform the staff at the library's circulation desk. The library will notify you when it is available.
For staff: This message appears in the Order field as soon as an item is received and paid for by library staff. It will no longer display when the item is cataloged and a call number is placed in the call number field. It also no longer displays when a subscription pattern is created for serial titles and at least one item is checked in using the subscription pattern.
